After moving to the United States in September 1979 at the age of 13, she attended Uniondale High School in New York, graduating with the Class of 1984. She later earned a degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management in 1989 and began her professional career working for five years at Marriott Hotels in Uniondale, New York.
In 1992, he married the love of his life, Sandra, and together they formed a beautiful family that became the center of their world. Married for over 33 years, they are proud parents of nine wonderful children and grandparents of five grandchildren, with a sixth on the way.
Desiring more time and freedom for his growing family, he made a significant career change and founded his successful construction company, Just Do It H.I. LLC, which continues to operate to this day. Through decades in the construction industry, he developed extensive expertise in property development, renovations, structural improvements, and real estate investments. His construction company also connected him with a large network of American and Latino homeowners, developers, and investors, allowing him to build lasting relationships based on trust, professionalism, and results. This strong network remains a valuable resource for clients seeking investment opportunities and real estate connections in both the United States and Guatemala.
After suffering a serious roofing accident several years ago, he decided to pursue a lifelong dream: reconnecting with his homeland, Guatemala. Today, he proudly owns and operates an Airbnb in Antigua Guatemala known as Los Place Antigua GT, where he has spent the last few years hosting guests from all over the world while continuing to expand his knowledge of the local real estate, investment, and hospitality markets.
